With over 13 years of experience as a General Psychologist, I know firsthand what it takes to navigate life's challenges and embrace a "Reset." My journey has blended mainstream psychology with psycho-dynamic methods, allowing me to develop a holistic and meaningful approach to helping others.

I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults in diverse settings, including private practice, telehealth counseling, community programs, young parenting initiatives, school-based behavioral programs, and Child and Youth Mental Health services in Brisbane, to name a few.

My practice models include evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Strengths-Based approaches. I am equally comfortable engaging creative soul-centred modalities including Psychodrama, Jungian Symbols & Dreams, Art as Therapy, and Transpersonal Psychology. By addressing the connection between body, mind, and soul, I aim to deliver a person-centred approach that honours each client’s individuality and fosters deep healing, clarity, and transformation.  

The academic stuff includes:

• Masters Mental Health/Art Therapy (UQ).
• Bachelor Psychology with Honours (USQ).
• Bachelor Human Services, Child & Families (Griffith).

 Originally from the South Island of New Zealand my family was drawn to Australia many years ago in search of a warmer climate and a sea change. When I’m not helping clients in my clinic you will find me near the Gold Coast ocean with my French bulldog Arlo or sipping a Latte with my family at local cafes, or creating art, dancing for fitness and fun, or potting and attempting to grow my indoor plant collection. 

I tend to gravitate towards fun, relaxing and calming people and places. I love travelling to Bali and Mexico, and I own a retro caravan that we take to beach locations in Qld and NSW during the warmer seasons. I'm a big advocate for work/life balance, meditation, magnesium float tanks, beach swims, and being in nature for its healing properties.  Hence my love of the Gold Coast and QLD.
